1.  Connecting to QuickBooks
You need to have QuickBooks running before your start Extended Analytics.   Extended Analytics can only connect to a running copy of QuickBooks to pull data and render the rich looking charts.

 

2.  Windows Vista

You may or may not need to turn off the User Account Control access within Windows Vista to install Extended Analytics.   Windows Vista sometimes does not allow the administrator of their computer to install applications that connect to another application for data.  Turning UAC off will allow you to install and upset the program.

 

3. Trial Version
The Trial version is good for 15 days of free use.  It is a full version of the software and you can use it for your evaluation of the software.   After 15 days, you will be locked out of the software until you purchase a registration key.

 

4. Versions Supported
We tested and support the following versions of QuickBooks.

 

Versions: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 (new)

Products: Standard, Professional and Premier (new)
